HOW MANY PASSENGERS CAN A PRIVATE JET CARRY?

When you want to fly in comfort, a private jet is the way to go. Charter aircraft are ideal for both business and leisure trips. They offer a level of peace and privacy that you can’t find when flying with a commercial airline. However, private jets are just as safe, and many companies adhere to high private aircraft standards.
Private jets come in a variety of shapes and sizes. So, when you’re trying to decide on the right jet for your trip, one of the first factors to consider is the size of your group.
Once you know how many passengers will be on the jet, you can begin to narrow down your options. Here are a few possibilities.

LARGE JETS

The Gulfstream G550 is a full-sized jet that can seat up to 18 passengers. It’s also a long-range option that can travel over 6,700 nautical miles and move at speeds that exceed 600 MPH. The Gulfstream G400 is a similar option, but it can seat one extra passenger and has a shorter range of 4,220 nautical miles. The Dassault Falcon 900 is yet another option for larger groups. It can hold up to 12 passengers, and 127 cubic feet of internal storage for all of your luggage. Amenities such as an oven, entertainment systems, and flight attendant service ensure an enjoyable flight.

SUPER MID-SIZED

The Gulfstream G200 is an example of a super mid-sized jet. This aircraft is capable of accommodating up to 10 passengers and has 150 cubic feet of internal storage. It has a range of more than 2,900 nautical miles and can cruise at 520 MPH. Comfortable yet efficient, the G200 comes with complete amenities such as a forward galley, quiet cabin, Wi-Fi, and Apple TV displays.

MID-SIZED

Mid-sized private jets are smaller, so they offer a cozier (but still luxurious) experience. Examples of mid-sized jets include the Bombardier Learjet 60 and Bombardier Learjet 55. The Learjet 60 can hold seven to eight passengers, while the Learjet 55 comfortably seats seven. These jets can travel more than 2,000 nautical miles at speeds that exceed 450 MPH.

LIGHT

When you’re traveling with a small crowd, you can choose to travel in a light jet. The Bombardier Learjet 35 is an example of an aircraft in this category. It’s a small jet with a 4’4″ cabin height and 4’9″ width. The space is suitable for eight passengers. They’ll need to be traveling fairly light, as the jet has 40 cubic feet of internal storage. The Learjet 60 can travel 2,300 nautical miles and cruise at speeds over 460 MPH.
When you’re ready to take to the skies in comfort, turn to International Jet, a private jet company with over 40 years of experience. In 2003, we opened a terminal at Centennial Airport, where you can enjoy access to our fleet. The fleet includes jets like the ones mentioned above, as well as Turboprop planes, such as the Beechcraft King Air 350, which hold seven to 10 passengers.
